About the Role:

 

We are seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to join a pharmacy in Ballarat, just 1.5 hours outside Melbourne. You will be joining a small group of pharmacies which have five locations across regional VIC. This pharmacy services the general public, nursing homes, and a small number of methadone clients. They are dedicated to enhancing patient health, well-being and lifestyle ensuring their team are available to provide helpful advice regarding a wide range of health and well-being solutions. As PIC you will be working with excellent pharmacy technicians and a retail manager. Your main responsibilities will include dispensing, checking Webster packs, methadone dispensing, customer counselling and overall management of the pharmacy with back end assistance from head office.

 

About Our Ideal Candidate:

 

  • You are friendly and work well alone and in a team
  • You are passionate about community pharmacy and providing excellent customer service
  • You enjoy interacting with customers
  • You have strong communication and leadership skills
  • You have previous experience with sachets and software for aged care (ie Icare)
  • Previous management experience is desirable but not essential.
  • You have a minimum 2 year’s experience as a registered pharmacist in Australia

About the Offer:

 

You will work flexible hours, including some weekend shifts, mainly on a Saturday. Salary will be based on experience, relocation costs provided up to $5,000.
